I love Arquius so much.
On one hand, I want the trollsprites to go back to being dead trolls and then to get resurrected…on the other hand, Arquius is perfect.
d’aww. It was a dream come true
WHAT IS THIS EVEN.
ancestor sadstuck: the grand highblood informs darkleer that he has fallen mysteriously ill and darkleer is like ‘sir you just ate appro%imately half your body weight in chicken wings please go lay down’.
such a tragedy
motherfuck god i laughed so hard i tipped the laptop off my bed thank you
OK this kind of turned out longer than I thought it would, so I am putting it under a read more, sorry if I ramble on.
i think the fact that a pair of pointy anime shades might become one of the main villains and no one questions it pretty much sums up this webcomic and its fandom
if the pointy anime shades ends up being Doc Scratch like bladekindeyewear is saying it will I will eat some article of my clothing
I will join you
Well to be fair, Doc Scratch is reborn and dies many times, and given his (mostly-)omniscient state-of-being and the nature of paradox space; any “pre-Doc Scratch form” that Doc Scratch has (whether it be AR or not) is basically just a beginning to a form that really has no beginning or end. He wouldn’t move from one Doc Scratch to another, he would be them all at once (obvious speculation on my behalf).
So AR being Doc Scratch really wouldn’t be him “becom[ing] this guy who is now dead” but rather “becoming this guy who is out their doing things presently, already, and things still to come.”
Given this post isn’t supposed be a thing about the evidence for and against the theory but rather a criticism of a criticism of the theory, I don’t want go on this tangent but I feel it is kind an important thing to note especially if the theory is correct. AR fears of “not existing” seem to have been given a particular narrative weight which that outweighs other characters’ fears of death, even Dave’s. Given AR now seems to think of himself as above good and evil, would it really be that surprising for him to accept an offer that removed any possibility of him ever “not existing” regardless of the morality of the person offering it?

#you will understand this post if you are a TRUE homestuck fan
Not really; since them being left out was deliberate, then it was fandom not being quiet but being loud as possible with some staff describing some of the comments as “frighteningly aggressive” that resulted in them changing it.
just trust me.
